By working with Designs by A Chiq, you agree to the following terms regarding copyrighted and intellectual property materials:

1. Client Responsibility

As a client of Designs by A Chiq, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for providing all content (including but not limited to logos, images, fonts, copy/text, and videos) used in your design or website project.

  • Any content you submit must be owned by you or you must have explicit, documented permission to use it.

  • You will not request the inclusion of any copyrighted or trademarked material (e.g., brand logos, licensed photography, music, or written work) without proper authorization.

2. Prohibited Use

Clients are strictly prohibited from:

  • Submitting or instructing Designs by A Chiq to use any materials that infringe on third-party copyrights or intellectual property rights.

  • Misrepresenting ownership or usage rights of submitted materials.

  • Asking Designs by A Chiq to replicate, copy, or alter trademarked or copyrighted works owned by others.

3. Consequences of Copyright Infringement

If it is discovered that you submitted or requested the use of unauthorized or infringing materials:

  • All liability falls solely on you, the client.

  • Designs by A Chiq will not be held responsible for any legal action, fees, takedown requests, or damages resulting from your misuse of intellectual property.

  • Your project may be suspended, delayed, or terminated without refund.

  • You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Designs by A Chiq, its owner, contractors, and affiliates from any resulting claims, damages, legal fees, or other liabilities.

4. Our Rights

Designs by A Chiq reserves the right to:

  • Refuse or remove content from a project if there is a reasonable concern regarding copyright infringement.

  • Request written proof of usage rights for any third-party materials provided.

  • Cooperate with copyright holders or legal authorities if a dispute arises.

  • Use original, non-client-provided work for portfolio, promotional, or educational purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5. Agreement Acknowledgment

By moving forward with any design or web development project, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy.
